Synergy Farm offers employment to grooms with experience in the hunter, jumper and eventing worlds. Always seeking ambitious and energetic people, working together as a team we will reach our goals and great success! We will take initiative to train our staff to the highest level of horse care and show preparation for our competition horses. Working at Synergy Farms employees will have the great opportunity to work with quality horses, highly trained, experienced hunter and grand prix riders and the rest of Synergy staff. We also offer 2 working student positions to join our team at Synergy Farm. A working student is not a paid position, but with the student's work their will receive training at home, lessons, and coaching at shows. Our goal at Synergy is to offer positions to better orientate people who wish to expand and develop their careers in the show jumping and equine industry. As a working student or a groom, they are expected to work around the barn, doing basic barn chores like feeding, mucking and keep the barn in an organized and clean fashion. Everyone is expected to help with the turn- outs, setting up of the jump schools, grooming and basic care of horses, cleaning tack and any other everyday task that needs to be executed. Our staff is expected to take care of the horses at a higher and more detailed level. Staff will have to do the physio therapies on horses when needed, clipping and general up keep on horse's appearance, body clipping, pulling manes, braiding manes and organizing and packing of trailers of the equipment needed at the shows. Other opportunities that Synergy Farm offers to grooms or working students is that they can bring their own horse to train and show with them. We do the Ontario and Quebec provincial summer show circuits, as well as 4 months in Ocala, Florida for the winter circuit. To all employees accommodations are available on the farm if required.
